“Maiden Glory” is a circular novel that merges alternative history, magical realism, and epic fantasy. This imaginary world is about the sacrifice of Parthenissa, a vestal virgin — and Xoanna, a warmaiden who defends her homeland. In this fictional universe, alchemists create gold out of thin air and three great empires vie for glory (Sigean, Tarshishean, Phoezanthian).
